October Favourites!

I don’t really tend to find myself doing “monthly favourites”, only because my favourite beauty items don’t really change month to month! If I absolutely love something, then I will be obsessed until I find something even better! Because it’s been a a few months, I felt I should update you all on what I’ve been loving! So, here we go!

I’m going to start with the L’Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution. This has replaced the L’Oreal Skin Perfection Velvety-Soft Toner for me recently. It doesn’t have that nice smell that the other product has, however, it is seriously good at breaking down all of your makeup. I can’t fault it at all, and it was a reasonable price, especially when it’s on offer! My skin hasn’t been this great in a while, and I feel that the L’Oreal toners are definitely the reason behind this.

Moving on, my next favourite is the Clinique Chubby Stick in the shade Mighty Mimosa – 13. There are many reasons why I love this product! Firstly, it’s so quick and easy to apply. Secondly, it looks fab and lastly, it’s very good for your lips! It might be quite expensive for a lip product (I think it retails at around £16-17), but seriously, it’s so worth it! It’s my ‘go-to’ lip product if I’m in a bit of a rush, and I’m so pleased that I made this purchase.

Next we have the L’Oreal Glam Bronze in Blonde Harmony. I have used this product for years, but since becoming better educated in makeup application, I now know how to use it properly! It has a bronzer on one side, and a beautiful golden highlighter on the other. The bronzer is perfect for light day-to-day contouring, and the highlighter suits it beautifully. Definitely a good purchase for your makeup bag!

This month I have also been loving the Agave Healing Hair Oil. I got a sample of this in one of my recent Birchboxes, and I must say, I’m in love! I’m not usually one to use hair oil, so I was a bit wary of using it. However, I needn’t of been! I put a coin size dollop into the palm of my hand, and took this through the ends of my hair. It smelt absolutely gorgeous! I can’t even describe the smell, but, it’s absolutely lush. I also noticed such a difference in the condition of my hair. It could have been a coincidence, but my hair grew a fair bit during the month I used it. It’s not a cheap product, however. I will be purchasing a full sized version in America as I’m hoping it will be slightly cheaper, but I still think I’d buy it at the price it is in England as it is an incredible product and totally worth the money.

My next October favourite is the Benefit They’re Real Mascara. I’ve been using this on and off for a few months, but I feel it has become a daily thing now! It has definitely grown on me. The formula is thick but not clumpy, and I just can’t compare any other mascara that I have tried. It’s one of the best out there for me, and I’m extremely happy that I got a full size one for Christmas so that when my sample runs out I have a backup!

Last but not least, I have the Eylure False Eyelashes. I’m loving their Lengthening ones right now, as they still look natural but just completely your makeup look! My favourites are the Lengthening No. 035 and No. 116! I have also purchased some more dramatic Eylure lashes, but I am yet to try these, so stay tuned for a makeup tutorial or review of these!

So I hope you liked this post! Let me know if you would like more frequent monthly favourites. Also, let me know if you like these products too, or if there are any other beauty products you could recommend that I try!

Thanks for reading!
